Tell us about your family (human and/or fur family):
My wife and I like to travel with our two sons. We're a nerdy kind of family so we like books, technology, and games.

How long have you been a teacher/worked in education?
This is my 24th year in education.

What makes you passionate about education?
I enjoy seeing students find something that fascinates them and head down a new path of learning. I want kids to find the interests and ideas that make them want to learn as much as possible.

What is your must-have classroom item?
Hot Glue Guns

If you had to choose a different grade/subject to teach, what would it be?
I used to teach language arts and I still love stories and poetry.

What is something about you that might surprise people?
My wife and I are planning to live in an RV and travel fulltime.

What is one item on your bucket list?
I would like to go to Japan.
