Tell us about your family:
I have been married to my wonderful husband Brian for 23 years. Some of you may know my daughter, Taylor Blankenship - she teaches science in 6th and 7th grade and lives with her husband Ricky and two of my very favorite people - my grandkids Lainey and Tucker in Rogersville. My son, Cole lives in Thompsonville, Illinois, with his wife Wendy and another one of my wonderful grandkids, Aunnastasia. My youngest son, Lucas, lives in Rogersville during the week and comes home on the weekends. He is getting married in June to a beautiful, sweet girl named Gracie Farran. I have a step daughter, Leyna that lives in Mountain Grove and has 2 more of those beautiful grandkids of mine - Heath and Hayley.
How long have you worked for LR?
15 of the best years of my life!!
What is your favorite thing about working for LR?
It feels like family here!! I don't mind going to work because my coworkers are so wonderful to work with. We work as a team and it's very upbeat here. Love my work family!
What is something about you that might surprise people?
I really enjoy riding Razors in the mountains. As much as I dislike cold weather this is one thing I will endure the temperatures for.
What is your favorite quote?
If you think you are too small to make a difference, try sleeping in a room with a mosquito.
What's the weirdest job you've ever had?
Folding newspapers! We also stamped addresses on them and bagged them to be mailed out.
What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t doing this?
Maybe run a thrift store or flea market booth :)
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
Drive a bulldozer.
What do you like to do when you're not at school?
Vacationing in Colorado, work on the farm, love driving skidsteer. I also like thrift store shopping.
