It's Wildcat Wednesday! On Wednesdays, we spotlight a member of the LR Wildcat family.
This week we are introducing you to Liz Clemens!

Job Title:
High School Paraprofessional
Tell us about your family:
I've been married to my wonderful husband, Rick, for 38 years. I have two beautiful sons, Eli and Will. I have been a Special Education teacher for 28 years. Now, as a paraprofessional, I get to enjoy all those amazing kids without all the paperwork! My husband, after retiring from being an IT Project Manager, now enjoys playing guitar and painting. I love gardening, cooking, the river, and good books. We live in the country with three lovable dogs, three sweet chickens and a hive full of honeybees.
How long have you worked for LR?
This is my first year as a Wildcat.
What is your favorite thing about working for LR?
My favorite thing about working for LR is the people.
What is something about you that might surprise people?
I love earthing (walking in the grass, weeds, whatever) and gazing at the moon and stars. I guess that may not be a surprise if you know me.
What’s the weirdest job you’ve ever had?
Hummm…
What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t doing this?
I would love to research how brains and behavior are related.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
Scuba dive
What do you like to do when you're not at school?
Garden, hang out at the river and spend time with my family.
Liz, we’re thrilled to have you as part of the Wildcat family!
