Tell us about your family:
I'm married to my best friend Jamie. We have 2 sons Hunter (22) and Fisher (14). We have 4 dogs, 2 cats, 5 horses, and a lot of cows! We love to camp, kayak, and trail ride.

How long have you been a teacher/worked in education?
16 years (2nd and 3rd grade)

What makes you passionate about education?
I love seeing the ah ha moments and the look of joy on a student's face when they have achieved a goal. I want all my students to love school and to love learning. I want to make it fun to learn and for them to have a great experience at school.

What is your must-have classroom item?
Does coffee count? Lots of post-its and flair pens.

If you had to choose a different grade/subject to teach, what would it be?
I would probably choose elementary art. I can't draw very well but I'm pretty crafty and I love helping students create things!

What is something about you that might surprise people?
We own the Rusty Fork food truck.

What is one item on your bucket list?
To trail ride in the mountains in the fall.
