Tell us about your family:
My husband Eddie and I have been married almost 31 years and have three daughters as well as several fur babies. Elizabeth is a nurse in Ft. Wayne, IN; Krista is a vet tech in Anderson, MO; and our youngest, Gracie, is a Sophomore at LR. We live on a small hobby farm in Rogersville.
How long have you been a teacher/worked in education?
I started my teaching career in 1996 but this is my first year at Logan-Rogersville.
What makes you passionate about education?
I love watching my preschoolers learn and master new skills, and I enjoy seeing their confidence grow!
What is your must-have classroom item?
laminating sheets and velcro dots
If you had to choose a different grade/subject to teach, what would it be?
Upper elementary math or science
What is something about you that might surprise people?
In my free time I like to sew and do needle work.
What is one item on your bucket list?
Spend a summer and fall traveling Europe.
