Tell us about your family (human and/or fur family):
My husband, Brian, and I have two daughters, Madison (17) and Kennedy (13).

How long have you been a teacher/worked in education?
I have been teaching for 19 years.

How long have you worked for LR?
I've been teaching in the district for 13 years.

Why did you choose to work for LR?
I student taught in Rogersville many years ago and fell in love with the district. This is our home!

What is your favorite thing about working for LR?
My favorite part about working for LR is working with the wonderful people! I have the awesome privilege of working with the teachers and their precious children this year. When I taught kindergarten, I was so blessed by so many wonderful families! Rogersville has a great community!

How did you know you wanted to be a teacher?
I've honestly known since I was in first grade. I cannot think of any other job I would want to do. Working with children is truly my passion.

What is your favorite quote?

What do you like to do when you're not at school?
I love spending time with my family. I love watching my girls play sports. We also love spending time outside enjoying nature, hiking and canoeing.
