Tell us about your family:
My parents live in Lees Summit, Missouri. My younger brother, Karson, attends K-State University in Manhattan, so we are huge K-State fans! I am a dog mom to a crazy little french bulldog named Rollie.

How long have you been a teacher/worked in education?
This is my first year teaching! I completed my student teaching at Field Elementary in Springfield.

What makes you passionate about education?
I love making connections with the kiddos and seeing how much growth they can have in such a short time. I love educating young minds!

What is your must-have classroom item?
Fun pens in EVERY color. My kids always laugh at the amount of colorful pens I have!

If you had to choose a different grade/subject to teach, what would it be?
Probably first grade, or maybe even art.

What is one item on your bucket list?
I want to zipline over Royal Gorge in Colorado someday!
