This week we are introducing you to Sarah Hale!

Job Title:
LRMS Special Education teacher, LRMS Girls Basketball coach, and LRMS assistant track coach.

Tell us about your family:
I am the youngest of two sisters and an aunt to 3 nephews and 2 nieces! I spend a lot of my time with family and my boyfriend, Brenden!

How long have you been a teacher/worked in education?
This is my first year as a teacher! I graduated from Evangel University last Spring!

What makes you passionate about education?
I love building relationships with the students, teaching them to have a strong work ethic, and teaching them to be confident in their abilities. It is important to me to push students to do their best in whatever they are doing!

What is your must-have classroom item?
Bright colored pens, sticky notes, and snacks!

If you had to choose a different grade/subject to teach, what would it be?
I would teach P.E. or a strength training class; fitness is a big passion of mine!

What is something about you that might surprise people?
I love the beach/ocean and have done cageless diving with sharks in Hawaii!

What is one item on your bucket list?
To one day attend a Chiefs Super Bowl game!
