How long have you been a teacher/worked in education?
This is my 25th year.

What makes you passionate about education?
I want to make people see how wonderfully organized and complex we are, and math is a great way to show that. With a little effort we can do great things.

What is your must-have classroom item?
Effort

If you had to choose a different grade/subject to teach, what would it be?
History

What is something about you that might surprise people?
Nothing, I'm about as blah as they come.

What is one item on your bucket list?
I would like to sit front row behind the plate at a Cubs game.
