Tell us about your family:
My wife, Abby, and I have been married for almost 3 years. We have a daughter named Meredith who is 18 months old.

How long have you been a teacher/worked in education?
This is my second year teaching and coaching. First at LR!

What makes you passionate about education?
Seeing students learn and grow. I love watching students accomplish things they never imagined they could. I was fortunate enough to have great educators as role models and I just hope to make a similar impact on the next generations.

What is your must-have classroom item?
A whistle!

If you had to choose a different grade/subject to teach, what would it be?
I really enjoyed teaching upper elementary math and social studies.

What is something about you that might surprise people?
Not all at the same time but I played football, basketball and ran track in college for Evangel University.

What is one item on your bucket list?
I think it'd be cool to run a marathon some day.
