This week we are introducing you to Oliva Johnson!

School Nurse

Tell us about your family:
I have been married to my husband David for 13 years. We have 2 wild but wonderful boys, Blaine (9) and Seth (7). We have lived in Rogersville for 4 years. We love traveling, watching our kids play sports and the Kansas City Chiefs!

How long have you worked for LR?
This is my first year working at LR!

What is your favorite thing about working for LR?
Everybody has been so welcoming and kind! I look forward to building new friendships and getting to know all the students.

What is something about you that might surprise people?
I have a gypsy soul.

What is your favorite quote?

What's the weirdest job you've ever had?
I don't know that I've ever had a weird job. I’ve worked in EMS for about 8 years and worked as a nurse in pediatrics and mental health for the last 10 years. I've seen lots of weird things though!

What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t doing this?
I always ask myself this question since I have been in healthcare since I was 17. I guess I would like to be a realtor.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
I would love to learn to play the piano.

What do you like to do when you're not at school?
Travel. If I could vacation every month I would!
