Tell us about your family (human and/or fur family):
I am from St. Louis. I have a younger sister and brother. I live in Springfield with my husband, Jake and our 4 year old boxer, Titus.

How long have you been a teacher/worked in education?
This is my 6th year!

How long have you worked for LR?
6 years

Why did you choose to work for LR?
I heard so many great things and had a chance to experience being in the district for a few weeks at the end of my student teaching. It was a hidden gem I didn't know about and I loved how welcoming and close knit it was.

What is your favorite thing about working for LR?
How supportive everyone is and that I am always given opportunities to learn and grow as an educator.

How did you know you wanted to be a teacher?
I always loved being around kids and knew that I wanted to do something where I could work with them. I couldn't imagine doing anything else!

What is something about you that might surprise people?
I can play golf

Read, spend time with my husband and fur baby, and take long walks
