Tell us about your family:
My family includes my husband of 14 years, Micah, my son Aiden (11), my daughter Addy (9), and our golden doodle Peaches (3).

How long have you been a teacher/worked in education?
This is my 17th year in education, 16th in Rogersville.

What makes you passionate about education?
I am passionate about helping students succeed so that they feel equipped to become whatever they want when they grow up. I love helping students and teachers develop and find the joy in becoming life-long learners.

What is your must-have classroom item?
Post-it notes!

If you had to choose a different grade/subject to teach, what would it be?
Elementary Art. I love drawing, painting and crafts.

What is something about you that might surprise people?
I was not very good at math as a kid.

What is one item on your bucket list?
I would love to see a whale in person in the ocean.
