December 21, 2021
Dear LR Parent/Guardian,
The LR Board of Education approved revisions to the “Return to Learn” plan starting January 3, 2022.
COVID positive students and staff will continue to be excluded from school. However, identified close contacts will be allowed to stay in school as long as they are symptom free. Close contacts will continue to be notified of the exposure and must monitor for symptoms over the next 10 days.
Elementary classrooms will utilize cohorting during the 10 day period to limit their exposure to other classrooms. Test to Stay Option and Modified Quarantine will no longer be utilized under the current revision.
Should the need arise to switch levels of response, we will add layers of mitigation in order to keep students safe and in school.
You can view the revised “Return to Learn” plan in its entirety on the district website www.logrog.net.
If you have questions or need clarification, we ask that you please call the district administration office at 753.2891.
Thank you for understanding and doing your part to keep our students safe.
Sincerely,
Shawn Randles, Ed. D.
Superintendent of Schools
