4^th – 6^th Grade Art Teacher

Tell us about your family:
I have been blessed with an award winning husband, and a house full of fur babies.

How long have you been a teacher/worked in education?
I began my first year of teaching here in Rogersville in 2010. It has been 12 years now and I couldn't imagine being anywhere else!

What makes you passionate about education?
INSPIRING KIDS THROUGH ART! 

What is your must-have classroom item?
That's a tough one! My document camera is massive help. But I think having 4 sinks in my room is pretty awesome too!

If you had to choose a different grade/subject to teach, what would it be?
Art is definitely my calling. I wouldn't trade that for anything. But my second favorite subject is Science.

What is something about you that might surprise people?
My husband and I started fostering dogs 5 years ago. We still take in fosters when we can, and I also do other volunteer work for the same animal rescue. 

What is one item on your bucket list?
To travel more in general!
