Dear LR Parent/Guardian,

The Health Departments’ quarantine measures for school are being shared early as additional facts to help families make a decision about vaccination. The LR District’s “Return to Learn'' Plan is being developed and will be released in its entirety the week of August 9, 2021. 

Quarantine FACTS:

If you have been identified as a close contact to a known COVID+ case in the school setting, the following health department measures apply;
Fully vaccinated student and staff who do not have COVID-like symptoms;
-Are not required to quarantine
-Can continue to attend school 
-Can continue to participate in school activities (co-curricular & extra-curricular)
-Must wear a mask indoors for 14 days or until they receive a negative test result
-May test 3-5 days following the known exposure
-For the next 10-14 days, you must continue to practice precautions, monitor for symptoms, and get tested if presenting symptoms. 

Unvaccinated students and staff;
-Are required to follow the traditional quarantine measures of your local health department. 

The Springfield Greene County Health Department (SGCHD) and the Webster County Health Unit (WCHU) have partnered to provide a convenient vaccination clinic for LR students, staff, parents, and LR community members who choose to become vaccinated. 

When: August 12, 2021, 12:00 - 2:00 PM
Where: Middle School Safe Room, 476 N. Missouri Boulevard, Rogersville MO. 
Cost: Participation is free and voluntary.
Pre-registration is preferred. Consent Form needed. Walk-ins welcome. 
The Pfizer vaccine will be offered to those ages 12 and older.

Pfizer second dose, September 2;
12:00 - 1:00 PM, Middle School Safe Room
1:30 - 2:30 PM High School Safe Room (Wildcat Den). 

September 2, also serves as a first dose clinic for those unable to attend the August 12 clinic.
Vaccinations aid school districts in their efforts to maintain in-person learning. LR supports all students and staff regardless of vaccination status. LR encourages you to talk to your doctor and follow their guidance.
