On April 24, 2024 the Logan-Rogersville School District attempted to break the record of the World’s Largest Game of Follow the Leader! It was an amazing experience to see all of our students, team members and community volunteers pull together to accomplish one common goal. After submitting all required evidence to the Guiness World Record Organization, and waiting patiently for them to review, it was determined that our attempt was SUCCESSFUL with 2,348 participants. The previous record of 768 was set in 2015.
The Logan-Rogersville School district now holds its second Guinness World Record. In 2011, LR set the World Record for the largest game of Duck Duck Goose with 2,135 participants. The district still holds this record today! The Senior Class of 2024 were in Kindergarten in 2011 when this record was set and wanted to be a part of another world record before they graduated. Thank you to everyone who made this possible! #WeAreLR
