Dear LR Parents/Guardians:

Throughout the pandemic, the LR school district has assisted families that have positive cases within their household.  The district has worked tirelessly to identify close contacts and notify families of exposures. At this time we will no longer be able to send individual notifications of exposures due to the volume of positive cases we are experiencing. We will continue to identify COVID cases and work through the return to school protocols with these families. You must continue to notify the school if your child is positive for COVID-19. 

Neither Greene, nor Webster County, are contact tracing or notifying individuals of an exposure. Due to the increased number of positive cases in our region, one must assume there is a risk of exposure anytime you leave your home. With limited mitigation options available to us, there will continue to be secondary transmission in schools resulting in positive cases and exclusions. We have a collective responsibility to monitor for symptoms and not put others at risk. We must all do our part to keep our school open.
