What makes you passionate about education?
My most passionate thing about education is watching my students succeed. I enjoy encouraging and forming relationships with my students.
What is your must-have classroom item?
I am retiring after this school year, so my must-have classroom item would be to leave a legacy for the teacher who replaces me.
If you had to choose a different grade/subject to teach, what would it be?
I have never wanted to teacher anything different than special education.
What is something about you that might surprise people?
I am an ordained minister with the Church of the Nazarene and have been a children's pastor.
What is one item on your bucket list?
I have been blessed to complete most of the things on my bucket list. I have been a teacher which had been number one. I have visited many of our national parks, such as The Grand Canyon, Utah's Might Five, Badland, Petrified Forest, and Monument Valley.
We are so glad you’re a Wildcat, Susan!
