Middle School Head Cook

Tell us about your family:
I've been married to Skip for 30 years. Gracie was our furbaby for 17 years. And now Sadie Ann is our newest addition. My husband, Skip, mows the athletic fields for LR.

How long have you worked for LR?
Six years, three of those is Head Cook at the Middle school

What is your favorite thing about working for LR?
I love seeing the kids at breakfast and lunch. Watching how they grow throughout the school year is amazing. We try to make a difference in a child's life by making sure they get the nutrition they need to learn during the day

What is something about you that might surprise people?
I don't like to cook. Lol

What is your favorite quote?
“Tomorrow is another day!” from Gone with the Wind. Best movie ever.

What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t doing this?
I would have loved to have a doggie daycare.

What do you like to do when you're not at school?
I love to be with my family.
