Tell us about your family:
My lovely wife Jonnye is my best friend. We work together. We play together. We do ministry together. We love Jesus very much and we try to love all those around us. We have great parents on both sides and wonderful children and amazing grandchildren. I like photography and she loves books. We both love the outdoors.

How long have you been a teacher/worked in education?
Twenty-five years

What makes you passionate about education?
Relationships. Relationships. Relationships. It's all about helping people recognize their own value and encouraging the humble pursuit of their very best for themselves and all those around them. Success to me, rides on the coattails of this idea.

What is your must-have classroom item?
Zebra 0.7 lead pencils and dad jokes

If you had to choose a different grade/subject to teach, what would it be?
I would coach baseball again.

What is something about you that might surprise people?
I'm not sure if there is anything left to surprise anyone 🤔

What is one item on your bucket list?
Heaven
